When I was 7 years old I wanted to create a big worldwide refuge for every single stray dog, on another note, my mum wanted to become a professional dancer when she was a teenager and Jeremy Corbyn wanted to be the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
We all, sadly and sensibly, realise the limited possibilities of making our plans successful.
However, none of us were born in the USA, as Bruce Springteen would say, and any of us know that dreams are made of a different material in the north American country.
In the United States a simple girl from a rough neighbourhood in Texas can become Beyoncé and a multimillionaire star of sleazy reality shows can become the President of the nation.
With these precedents Kaney West has decided, by surprise and when many of the deadlines have passed, to become a new candidate for the White House.
His party’s name is, why not, the Birthday Party because, in the words of the rapper, when they win, “it’s everybody’s birthday”. His principal guidance in this career will come from Elon Musk, an eccentric entrepeneur of the electronics world that has named his son X Æ A-Xii, because, again, why not.
Kim Kardashian, as the First Lady wannabe, will try to make her dream come true using the charm and benevolence of the American society to forget her more than controversial past in the quirky university of the American television.
The country, immersed in a racial war, with thousands of dead caused by the omnipresent coronavirus everyday and with a weak and dour democrat candidate, was expecting a last minute new punch line to get the most delighted surrealism.
This new candidate, who always found ways to support Donald Trump, has declared that he would run as a Republican if Trump wasn’t there, and that he doesn’t support the President anymore because “it looks like one big mess” to him.
About Biden, he is more emphatic: “Joe Biden? Like come on man, please. You know? Obama’s special. Trump’s special. We say Kanye West is special. America needs special people that lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden’s not special”.
To talk about oneself in the third person and doing it for calling yourself special is something that, again, is only acceptable in the land where the dreams come true.
However, it should not be ignore the condition of Kanye West as the only black candidate in some elections marked by the racial problematic in the country.
After a clumsy declaration of the Democrat candidate Joe Biden, who told a black radio host that if he couldn’t decide whether to vote for Biden or Trump, then he “ain’t black”, some important representatives of this community have withdraw their support to the former Vice President.
Kanye West, about this, explained how “is a form of racism, white supremacy and white control to say that all Black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is me splitting the vote”.
Nevertheless, the Democrats voices have express their worries about how any division of the electorate could change the final result of this crucial elections.
It cannot be forgotten that an 89% of the black community voted for Hillary Clinton, the Democrat candidate, in the American elections of 2016.
Another important element that could mean a change in the development of the elections could be the economic factor. In the United Stated the money spent in the electoral campaign has a major repercussion in the results of the votes.
Kanye West, and his universally known wife Kim Kardashian have a foreseeable equal amount of fame and wealth.
The rapper, in his Twitter account, has declared that like anything he has ever done in his life, he is doing it to win.
Realistically the actual possibilities of Kanye West to become the President of the United States are, according to the polls, negligible, however, these surveys have never included the spirit of the American dream.
